Momsdish Kitchen Square

Hi, I am Natalya Drozhzhin, owner of momsdish.com where I share simple, approachable recipes for the everyday cook.

I was born in Ukraine and lived most of my childhood in a tiny village. My mom and grandma made all sorts of European breads in our wood burning oven. The aroma in the house while they were baking is one of my favorite childhood memories. In the late 90s, my family immigrated to the United States, specifically to Seattle, Washington. This is where I completed high school and met my husband, Timofey.

Tim had the hardest job – as my recipe tester. I haven’t always been a good cook but have always had a passion for it. I was inspired by my mom, who isn’t a complicated cook by any means – she was a consistent one.

In our small village in Ukraine, food scarcity was common, and ingredients weren’t always guaranteed. Despite these challenges, my mother’s relentless resourcefulness always put something delicious on the table.

After scouring the internet for a place to learn how to cook like my mom, nothing really felt as cozy as her kitchen. And that’s how the Momsdish story began…

So, what’s Momsdish all about today? We’re a community of people who yearn to go back to Mom’s basics and are dedicated to making the kitchen the centerpiece of our homes.

I am obsessed with making cooking feel as intuitive and simple for ourselves as it was for our mothers and everyone that loves to cook. At Momsdish we’re also sharers of ideas, recipe variations, and techniques. Most importantly, we’re so happy to be a resource for everyone that needs crazy easy recipes.

Currently, Timofey and I reside in Nashville, Tennessee with our two boys, Jacob and Ethan. We love to travel and have Paris on our list for 2023.

Why are you excited to be a St Pierre ambassador?

I love love the product. I think there is nothing like it out there. I have tried many brioche breads, it’s one of my favorite breads but St Pierre really makes the best one.

What's your favorite St Pierre product?

Brioche Loaf, I love it plain as a snack because it’s so darn good. But also, I love using it in many different recipes. My boys love the crêpes!
