Golden and rich brioche, try these sliced brioche sandwiches with classic fillings for a taste of Parisian summer.
Ingredients
Ham and brie
- 2 slices St Pierre Brioche loaf
- Small knob of butter, softened
- 1 or 2 slices good quality ham
- 4 thin slices brie
- Few salad leaves
Smoked Salmon, avocado and cream cheese
- 2 slices St Pierre Brioche loaf
- 1-2 tbsp cream cheese
- Few chopped chives or parsley
- Half an avocado, sliced
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- 2 large slices smoked salmon
Tomato and Mozzarella
- 2 slices St Pierre Brioche loaf
- ½ ball mozzarella, sliced
- 1 vine tomato, sliced
- Few fresh basil leaves
- Ex virgin olive oil
- Black pepper
Method
Ham and brie sliced brioche sandwiches
- Butter one slice of the brioche then layer on the ham and brie.
- Add a few salad leaves then the other slice and sandwich together, then cut into halves or quarters.
Smoked Salmon, avocado and cream cheese sliced brioche sandwiches
- Spread cream cheese on one slice of brioche and sprinkle on the chives or parsley.
- Squeeze the lemon over the sliced avocado then place on top of the cream cheese.
- Top with smoked salmon and the other slice of brioche then cut into halves or quarters.
Tomato and Mozzarella sliced brioche sandwiches
- Arrange the mozzarella over one slice of the brioche then add the tomato slices.
- Drizzle with a little olive oil, season with pepper and add a few basil leaves.
- Add the other slice of brioche and cut into halves or quarters.
