Chocolate Brioche Sandwiches
4 slices of St Pierre Chocolate Chip brioche loaf
60g of your favourite chocolate broken into small pieces
Coarse salt (optional)
1 tablespoon of sugar mixed with cinnamon
How to make
Butter one side of each slice of brioche generously. In a frying pan big enough to hold them,cook the brioche sliced butter side down over a medium heat, until pale golden on one side.
Cover 2 slices of the chocolate, flip a naked slice on top butter side up to make a sandwich. Cook, turning the sandwiches as necessary, until the chocolate has softened and the sandwiches are browned on both sides.
Serve immediately, sprinkled with a pinch of salt or a dusting of the cinnamon sugar if using.
